Celebrating 15 Years of Collective Action Towards Ed-Equity
Art for Educators
Discover the transformative power of integrating visual arts and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) in the classroom. This interactive session will delve into how these two approaches help shape expressive, reflective, and well-rounded young citizens. Together, we'll explore best practices for incorporating art and SEL into school environments, enhancing children’s cognitive, emotional, and social development. By the end of the session, participants will leave with at least one actionable strategy to implement in schools, a deeper understanding of how art fosters well-being, and renewed inspiration to prioritize creativity and emotional health in their own lives.
Venue: Art Room (9th Floor)
Time: 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
