Celebrating 15 Years of Collective Action Towards Ed-Equity
What is India?
This reflective session will foster dialogue on the India we see today and the role each of us can play in shaping a future that is free of poverty and filled with love. Through small and large group discussions based on a "truth and hope" model, participants will explore India’s current challenges and their personal connection to the nation’s transformation. The session would conclude on a note of ‘Collective hope’ with participants sharing reflections on ‘what has India given us?’ and ‘what can we give India?’ to inspire collective action. Target Audience: Teach For India alumni, staff and other participants passionate about India's future and the role they can play in its transformation.

Hafsa Bukhary
Hafsa is the Program Lead of Schools of Specialised Excellence at Ashoka University. She has worked across various regions, including Maharashtra, Hyderabad, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Bihar, and Jharkhand. Her work spans diverse interventions, focusing on teacher training, curriculum design, promoting gender inclusivity, and cultivating 21st-century skills among students.

Mahveen Mohammedi
Mahveen is a Community Volunteer with the Government of Telangana, through the Pillala Kosam initiative. She works closely with government primary schools and the state team of the initiative. She is building leadership through her field experience and she is deeply committed to this movement.
